After 8 days in New Zealand in pouring rain and wind I would have to recommend the BMW Rallye 2 jacket and pants, at the end of each day I was dry and happy. The days existed of starting the day with rain and temperatures normally around 4 to 8 degrees (this was late February) pouring rain and normally 300 to 500 kilometres to travel. If nothing else over the years I know what gear doesn’t work as I have owned most of it or ridden with guys that have owned it.
The other thing I would like to recommend is the oilskin over boot covers made by a local company the Australian coat company if you suffer like I do over wet feet then these are a good preventive piece of equipment.
