Also check out Gold Coast Riders for a list of local rides and events http://goldcoastriders.webs.com . Lots of great rides right on our back door and plenty of group rides going on. See on the road one day. Cheers.

Get in touch with Ridabike at Nerang they do regular escorted rides for new riders, returning riders and learners who do not have someone to ride with they also do advanced tuition in small groups or 1 to 1 they also do suspension set ups.

I've just moved over to Qld from Perth and there is a great difference in driving styles between the two states. It's a been 8 months since I've been on a bike can anybody suggest where I can get some more experience on riding and organised rides out as I really don't fancy going into the hills on my own. There was a great social bike scene in Perth, especially for learners and females - just bought a Suzuki GSXR 600. Thanks

This is great. Being from the UK i have attended the Bikesafe schemes and they are definitely a way to help you improve your skills, and helps the police build better relationships with Bikers. I am amazed there are no real advanced rider groups here such as the IAM http://www.iam.org.uk/aboutus/IAM+Motorcycling/. Further training is available in Australia but it's expensive. The advanced motorcycling scheme offers people the chance to Improve their skills under the eyes of qualified instructors, but without the expense. Bikesafe is a good start.

Bradyn should be congratulated for going above and beyond the call of duty. Some people are glad to just go to work, put in the hours and go home. Some go that bit further to make a difference. Here is a bloke who loves to ride and wants to give something back. I look forward to hearing how many attend and their feedback.

Good luck Bradyn.
