Welcome to the Bike Safe Newsletter 2/2009.

I would like to thank all those that attended the first Bike Safe presentation on 25th November 2009.  With over 30 people attending it was a great success.  I hope that even if you left with a small amount of information then it was a worthwhile experience.  My hope is that you leave the sessions with those prompts in mind and next time you are out riding they force you to think about some of the safety issues that occur.

I would also like to thank those that provided feedback after the first session and I will look at all suggestions and try and implement some improvements in future sessions. It can be very hard to develop a program that everyone will agree on. I will also be developing a website in the new year and look forward to involvement from all riders.

We have also had a change of address from Coomera Police Station to the new Robina Police Station and the new address is listed below.

Apologies to those that have sent in expressions of interest and I haven’t replied to yet.

The next Bike Safe sessions should commence at the end of January 2010 and I will advise you of the dates in upcoming newsletters.

Next time you turn the key; Remember make your ride about the journey rather than the destination.  You can enjoy that once you get there.

If there is anything you would like addressed whether it be Legislation, Riding Tips techniques or general riding questions please drop me an email.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Safe New Year

Cheers
