I just want to say thanks to all those who attended. I must say the event gets bigger and bigger each year. Six years and still going strong. I was impressed by the monitoring/auditing of the roads to assess their suitability for bikes. Things like run off areas, cambers of the road and the like. It is about time that governments recognisied that rtoads need to be designed for all vehicles. Great to see motorcycle shops supporting the event. Tyres and riding gear are especially important. The simulator always gets a laugh so bravo to H.A.R.T. Demonstrating that commitment to assessing peoples capabilities. Gold Coast City Council are also demonstrating their commitment to road safety by providing riding courses. It always amazes me that people judge riding skills by how long they have been riding. If you are taught wrong to start with, there is a good chance you are still doing it wrong today. Many thanks to the Fire Brigade reps and naturally the Police are always popular with their radar and story telling. Great job everyone
